This past weekend was the big Two Rivers tournament on the big pond. With the storms that went through Wednesday night and Thursday

morning it really scattered the fish. Some very cold water found close to shore north and south of TR. All trips produced 5 to 7 fish with

most still coming off 3 and 5 colors of leadcore on warrior spoons and small blue/chrome j-plugs in about 45 feet of water trolling in and out

   57 to 62 degree water.

Now it's off to the BWCA of Minnesota for a family canoe trip.

Do we need to build an Ark soon?

                                              good fishing,

Spent the last two days on my favorite body of water again out of Two Rivers. I have not seen fishing like this in years out there!

Fishing with family and friends we boated 36 fish (just about all kings) in the two days with over half the fish being over 12 lbs.

Fishing waters in front of TR a mile north to a mile south in 45 to 65 feet of water staying west of the commercial fishing nets.

75% of the fish were taken off 5 color leadcore on the boards on a  hog wild warrior spoon with the rest on some pro king spoons

and a green dodger with a loner fly on the down riggers.

With calm conditions my friends and kids had a great time. Next weekend is the big Two Rivers Derby!! Lets go, I'm ready!!

                                    Get out there,

                                                    Brian

On the 1st of July I switched everything on the boat over for the big lake. I spent a nice long weekend out at Two Rivers and with all the wind and waves I made it out friday and saturday mornings.

Friday for my first trip on the season I managed three good salmon from 14 to 17 lbs. I was running dodger/fly, and worrior spoons. All my fish came off the warrior spoons fishing from 50 to 90 feet of water north of TR.

Saturday I went out with Crawler Man and caught seven in 50 to 60 feet of water. fish being caught on flies and spoons.

Back out this weekend!! Weather looks a whole lot calmer then last weekend.

                      enjoy,

                                     Brian

6/28/10:

Friday the 25th I finally made it out to prefish for the Brickyard tournament out of Calumet county park. Left home at 6:30 and was fishing by 7:15 south of Stockbridge on the rocks.  Really rough!  Fished #5 Flicker Shads, walleye divers, and jointed walleye divers; 90 to 110 ft back at 2.7 to 2.9 mph.  Fishing was top notch with 4 fish being 20 to 24" and 4 being 17 to 20".  Back in by noon.

Saturday, shotgun start for the tournament at 5:30, conditions being flat calm after the storm fri night.  Went back to the same area running same baits.  Managed 5 fish from 18 to 20" in two hrs time.  After that, only managed three smaller fish.  But it was enough to take 2nd place in the Brickyard Tournament.
