Pictured is the Walleye my daughter cranked in last night on a perch crank in 17 ft of water on the north end. She had her hands full!
Fishing this week has been pretty steady.
Sunday with the Kids Wish For Fish event, all fisherman/kids came in with fish
Despite the lousy, cold weather conditions.
Mostly fishing the north end of the lake because of the winds.
Fish were caught on Cranks and harnesses.
I’ve been getting good reports from fisherman drifting jigs
with pieces of crawlers or leeches from in front of Stockbridge to
Mud creek area. Slip bobbers anchored on humps also has been good in these areas.
Trolling out in the mud has been picking up. Cranks run from 40 to 80 ft back are doing good.
Colors vary. Try everything!!
Still a few crappie being caught in Stockbridge harbor and
some gills being caught in the harbor at High Cliff.
Looks to be a lot warmer weekend then the last.
Enjoy it!!
